The property nestles in a privileged area of rolling hillside between the traditional Spanish towns of Alhaurin el Grande and Coin, both towns being just a 10-minute (5km) drive away. The Andalucian Rescue Centre for Horses (ARCH), featured on TV, including "Brits in the Sun", is just a short 10-minute walk away and is open to visitors on Sunday mornings. "Alhaurin", a name given by the Moors, means "God´s garden", the area being fertile and with a pleasant winter climate. There are abundant fresh fruit & vegetables grown and sold locally and a mix of traditional Spanish people/culture and a large, established, international community. We are ideally located just a 30-minute pleasant drive from the historic centre and harbour of Malaga city, and the Costa del Sol at Marbella & Fuengirola. We are a 45-minute drive (46km) from the world-renown El Caminito del Rey with its spectacular rope walkways. We are also just 30 minutes from Malaga airport, and accessible by good tarmac roads with just the final 100 metres being a steep concrete lane. A car is recommended for getting around, including for food shopping. There is a regular and economical bus service from Coin and Alhaurin el Grande to Malaga. "As I stood at the entrance of my outdoor area my first words were... WOW! My breath was taken away at the stunning 360-degree beautiful view. As I looked around the outdoor living area my heart felt peaceful - it had everything to make being outside both functional and comfortable. The indoor living area is bright, immaculate, fully equipped and very comfortable. I was able to enjoy the sunrise, sunset and the clear star-filled night sky. Walking around the immense garden was a pleasure, so calming. Having fresh oranges and lemons warmed by the sun fresh from the trees... BLISS! The owners Andrew and Hazel are very kind and helpful. They have the balance of being on hand if needed but are respectful of one's privacy. I cannot wait to return."
